What’s cooking for 0.2.1?
Because that’s the next version rolling out.
First off all, if you don’t follow @ostrichapp, you should. That’s where I shout all the new stuff first.
Secondly, here’s what I have in mind of 0.2.1:
- Settings: You can now modify the refresh rate, show or hide the unread tweets count and decide if you want links to open in background tabs or in foreground tabs;
- Sometimes new tweets stop coming in, I’m fixing this once I can recreate the bug properly;
- When you toggle Ostrich and there are new tweets & new mentions, there no way to know you’ve got new mentions. Not how it was intended, I’m fixing this aswell;
- Finally, there’s also a bug which causes some tweets to double. To me it happens only rarely and I’m still trying to reproduce, but I’m working on that too.
I don’t know yet when the new version is coming out. Most likely before the weekend. Then I can work on more serious features for 0.3. I’m a complete newbie at versioning apps, but I’m feeling new major features deserve their own 0.x and bugfixes don’t deserve more than a 0.x.x! So now you know my thinking.
